1911-TRP™ The 1911-TRP™ ISPT™ was designed specifically for the Springfield Armory® TRP™ models. This ISPT™ is the result of feedback from TRP owners, who stated that the standard 1911 ISPT design (1911-Professional, 1911-Elite, 1911-Stud, and 1911-SharpShooter) mag release button hole is just a tad too small. Based on specific responses from pistol owners, we opened up the mag release button hole by .010", which leaves slightly less material between the trailing edge of the mag release button and the leading edge of the grip panel, and left the other 1911 ISPT dimensions the same. For this reason, the 1911-TRP™ ISPT™is made out of clear, .007"-thickness Mylar® polyester, just like our 1911-Professional. This material is very durable and impervious to many chemicals. Our staff has subjected one 1911-TRP™ ISPT™ to as many as 75 disassembly/reassembly operations without wear-through.* It is also durable enough to attach to your keyring for everyday availability! * Results may vary.
